A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy was shot and killed Monday evening after responding to an incident just south of Marengo, officials said. Morrow County Sheriff John Hinton said in a news conference early Tuesday morning the deputy was responding to a domestic situation off County Road 26. The deputy then got into a shooting altercation with the suspect.

Cleveland Animal Care & Control took the social media on Monday to warn residents to leave baby deer alone if they see them. ODNR does have tips for residents if they believe a fawn is in a dangerous location or is injured.
