Local charges dismissed, federal charges stick in case of man posing as teenager

PERRYSBURG, Ohio (WTVG) – Prosecutors have dismissed the local forgery charge against a Venezuelan man accused of faking documentation and posing as a teenager to enroll at Perrysburg High School.

The Perrysburg Municipal Court forgery charge against Anthony Labrador Sierra was dismissed without prejudice on Wednesday, court records show, though his federal charges remain in place.

He is currently in custody at the Lucas County Jail as he faces federal charges for unlawful possession of a firearm, as well as making false statements and falsifying documents…
