RICHFIELD, Ohio — After weeks of tension, Richfield Township residents packed the local fire department Wednesday night to voice their opposition to a proposed zoning amendment that could have paved the way for advanced manufacturing in residential and farmland areas.
Residents expressed frustration over poor communication from the township’s board of rustees, concerns about property rights and fears that a large-scale data center could be built in their community.
