TOLEDO, Ohio — The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is opening a new thrift store location in Toledo and inviting the community to celebrate. A grand opening event will take place Saturday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 5311 Airport Highway. Free hot dogs will be available to all who attend.
The store replaces the former Sylvania Avenue location, which closed earlier this spring during the transition to the new site in Airport Square. The new facility will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations can be dropped off at the front of the building Monday through Saturday until 4 p.m.
