Business owner finds niche in humanely trapping nuisance animals

The hole by the foundation of an outbuilding on a riverside Rossford property was made by a groundhog, but its most recent inhabitant turned out to be something else altogether.Fortunately for that opportunistic animal, Dillon McAtee was on the case.

Mr. McAtee always knew he would find a career in animal conservation and management. But he didn’t expect was that one day he would take what he learned in college to use alternative, humane methods to deal with nuisance animals and prevent them from entering and damaging human habitations.

Mr. McAtee is the proprietor of his own company, Nature’s Doorstep.
