Owners of O-Deer Diner to sell business after 15 years of operation

PERRYSBURG, Ohio — After 15 years of serving ice cream to loyal locals, O-Deer Diner in Perrysburg is preparing to close its doors.

Owners Rick and Dana announced the decision on social media Wednesday, citing Rick’s readiness to retire after years of early mornings at the shop.

“What people sometimes forget is that the diner is open seven days a week from March to October, and Rick is at the shop by 6:30 each morning getting it prepared for the day,” the post said. “He is ready to retire.”…
