TOLEDO, Ohio — A man convicted of charges in the October shooting death of a 32-year-old woman in east Toledo was sentenced Thursday to 25 years in prison.
Deondrae Ballard, 32, pleaded guilty earlier this month in Lucas County Common Pleas Court to one count of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of felonious assault, one count of having weapons while under disability and one count of discharge of firearm on or near a prohibited premises.
