Monroe County’s chapter of Soroptimist International marked the close of its year with a red carpet–themed appreciation event that combined fun, food and philanthropy.
The celebration, held June 17 at First Merchants Bank, featured the installation of new members, financial contributions to local nonprofits and some star-studded flair, according to a community announcement.
A night of recognition
The event welcomed four new members to the Soroptimist International of Monroe County: Danielle Bowman, Melissa Bomia, Nicole Ernst and Karissa Lomas. District III Director Gail Hutra conducted the installation ceremony.
