MAUMEE, Ohio — A longtime fixture in Maumee and beyond passed away suddenly over the weekend, leaving behind a profound legacy of dedication to the community.
“It is with immeasurable sadness that I announce the sudden passing of Mike McCarthy: editor, publisher and owner of The Mirror Newspapers, and my dad,” Denny McCarthy said, in part, in a statement posted to social media Saturday evening.
