Man indicted for murder in fatal east Toledo stabbing

TOLEDO, Ohio — A man accused of stabbing another man to death in east Toledo on July 4 was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury on Monday.

Paris Johnson, 35, was indicted in Lucas County Common Pleas Court on two alternative counts of murder and one count of felonious assault.

Toledo police responded to a home on Plymouth Street around 3:30 a.m. for an altercation. When officers arrived, they located 35-year-old Marcus White with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene…
