Bomb squad called to Woodville residence after military artillery shell found

WOODVILLE, Ohio — The Northwest Ohio Bomb Squad was called out to Woodville on Monday after a person found what appeared to be a military artillery shell while cleaning out a family member’s residence.

The bomb squad responded to the home around 1 p.m. in the 300 block of Erie Street.

According to authorities, the bomb squad took possession of the ordinance and will dispose of it at a later date. The bomb squad said at the time of the report, it was unclear if the artillery shell was live or not…
