TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo-Lucas County Plan Commissions posted a stop-work order at a Toledo mining operation on Wednesday.
The notice of non-compliance was officially posted on Wednesday, just a day after Toledo City Council rejected zoning ordinances for Rocky Ridge Development and city leaders announced they’d implement a stop-work order.
The current zoning for these sites does not allow mining, despite the fact that the site at 4004 Angola Road is actively being mined on by Rocky Ridge Development.
