A North Toledo man charged with attempted murder for severely beating another man late last year has entered no-contest pleas to two counts of felonious assault.
Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Eric Allen Marks found Juleon M. Carter, 22, of the 900 block of Walnut Street, guilty Tuesday after the no-contest pleas and scheduled sentencing for July 31.
Police said Carter beat the other man so badly Nov. 21 that officers responding to the scene at Carter’s home could not identify the victim.
