TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The 12th annual Helping Hands of St. Louis Shoe Fest will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 26.
Volunteers and donations of athletic shoes for kids sizes toddler 10 through adult 10 are needed. The event helps give kids in need shoes before the start of the school year.
“Last year we provided new shoes, socks and school supplies to more than 900 school-age children,” Sue Shrewsbery, the director of Helping Hands of St. Louis, said. “We focus on East Toledo families, but no child will be turned away if we have their size shoe. First come, first served.”…
