A 31-year-old Toledo woman was struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle on North Holland Sylvania Road in Sylvania Township early Sunday morning.Emmalee J. Jackman, 31, was riding a GoTrax G3 Plus electric scooter southbound near the intersection of Huntingfield Boulevard about 12:20 a.m. when she was struck by an unknown vehicle heading the same direction. The driver hit Ms. Jackson and fled, the patrol said.
Ms. Jackman was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is seeking information about the unknown vehicle. It will have damage to the right front headlight and is missing the right passenger mirror, the patrol said.
