TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo man is accused of stealing hundreds of food items from Fifth Third Field over a series of days.
A Lucas County grand jury indicted James Benschoter, 59, of Toledo, on four counts of breaking and entering on Tuesday.
Court filings allege he jumped the locked gate at Fifth Third Field after hours on several occasions in June. He allegedly broke a lock off of a cooler and stole about 100 bottles of Pepsi products. On another occasion, police say he stole about 40 pints of ice cream and a wine cooler…
