PORT CLINTON — Two Toledoans have been arrested for their roles in the death of an 86-year-old Port Clinton man.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, around 1 p.m. on July 17 crews responded to a home in the 2600 block of East Harbor Road on a report of a dead body. They found the body of the homeowner, Warren Taylor. His death was later ruled a homicide.
On Tuesday, police arrested Shawn M. Gooden, 51, of Toledo and charged him with aggravated murder, murder, aggravated burglary, theft from a protected class, tampering with evidence, and receiving stolen property in connection with Mr. Taylor’s death…
