MAUMEE, Ohio — A new diverging diamond interchange at Interstate 475 and U.S. 20A is set to open to traffic in early August, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Ahead of the opening, ODOT will host a public event Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. on U.S. 20A, on the east side of the interchange near Spartan Chemical. The event will include remarks from ODOT officials, local leaders and business representatives on the interchange’s expected benefits for regional logistics and traffic flow.
During the event, U.S. 20A will be closed between Ford Street and Briarfield Boulevard, except for local business access. Parking will be available on both sides of the bridge, and ODOT staff will assist with directing traffic and participants…
