TOLEDO, Ohio — The National Association of Letter Carriers has filed a formal grievance against the United States Postal Service on behalf of local mail carriers in Toledo, claiming new delivery routes are pushing workers to their limits.
Letter carrier Rachelle Roy, who delivers mail in central Toledo, said a recent shift in how routes are structured has dramatically increased the amount of walking required each day and the toll on her body is becoming unbearable.
