TOLEDO, Ohio — A 23-year-old man who was shot Saturday afternoon in north Toledo had been trying to sell a pistol when he was injured, according to a newly released Toledo Police incident report.
Crews were first called around 2:50 p.m. to 524 E. Central Avenue, near the I-280 overpass, and later to the Gas and Express Marts station at Stickney Avenue and East Manhattan Boulevard, where the man had driven himself after being shot.
Police say the shooting happened during the attempted sale of a gun at the East Central address. After speaking with the victim and others at the scene, officers arrested two people: 18-year-old Atuaious Wilder and 21-year-old Coreon Carter. Both have been charged with aggravated robbery…
