SWANTON, Ohio — Earnest Brew Works announced the opening of the Oak Openings Wheelhouse location, which they took over from another northwest Ohio brewery that ceased operations last year.
In a Facebook post, Earnest Brew Works said its Wheelhouse location would open Friday, Aug. 1 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Its hours for the rest of the weekend include Saturday from noon to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Additionally, a coffee shop will also be opened in the taproom; Earnest said earlier this year will contract Wild Roots Coffee to provide both food and coffee to the business. However, Scot Yarnell, who operates Earnest, said in a comment on the Facebook post that coffee service is not yet available; equipment for coffee brewing has been ordered, and will be delivered and installed, “hopefully” in the next four weeks…
