TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Research shows the number of young people having a stroke in the United States is increasing. Experts say that’s due in part to a rise in traditional risk factors, including high blood pressure, obesity, lifestyle choices and heart disease.
Heather Miller-Klingler is a mother, wife, teacher and stroke survivor. She says a winter day this year started out like most other days, but it quickly turned into the scariest day of her life.
