TOLEDO, Ohio — 11 years after Toledo’s water crisis left more than 400,000 people without safe drinking water, officials, researchers and residents gathered on Lake Erie to take a closer look at the lake’s current health.
“It’s always a great opportunity to see firsthand about the status of the lake,” said Ohio Sen. Paula Hicks-Hudson aboard the research boat.
