TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A driver was hospitalized after losing control of his vehicle, hitting a light pole and taking out wires.
The crash happened around noon on Friday afternoon on Bancroft near Alvin. Police at the scene told 13 Action News the driver of an SUV was heading eastbound on Bancroft and tried to pass traffic in the turn lane, but lost control and hit a light pole.
The collision tore the pole out of the ground and brought down wires in the area…
