TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Friday morning, the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department welcomed 20 new recruits to start Day One of the fire academy.
With recruitment and retention down at agencies across the nation, the hope is that this class will help keep the department fully staffed for years to come.
