Former Dundee High School wrestler alleges bullying and abuse in program

DUNDEE, Mich. — A former Dundee High School wrestler and his father are speaking out, alleging years of bullying, abuse and inaction within the school’s wrestling program.

Connor Kiernan, who wrestled for Dundee Schools through middle school and his freshman year of high school, said he quit after repeated incidents of violence from teammates and a lack of intervention from coaches.

“The bullying is severe, and it didn’t just happen to me,” Kiernan said. He described the program as a dominant force in the community, where “a lot of people get free passes or second chances” because of its success…
