Police: Teen hits multiple cars while leading TPD on stolen vehicle pursuit; officer injured

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo Police officers arrested a teenager accused of hitting multiple vehicles while leading police on a pursuit, which ultimately led to an officer being injured, police said.

Police reports said a 15-year-old boy led officers on a police chase in a stolen vehicle in the Stickney Avenue and S. Expressway Drive area around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. The teenager allegedly struck two vehicles that didn’t have anyone inside of them at the time.

The 15-year-old allegedly ran away and investigators tracked him down to a second floor balcony of a home on Lagrange. When TPD went to arrest him, an officer fell through a hole in the steps leading up the second floor. The hole was obstructed by brush, police said…
