TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A longstanding family-run restaurant is still standing after a vent fire in the kitchen.
“This is the first fire we’ve ever had that I’m aware of,” said Doug Schmucker, who took over his grandparents’ restaurant that launched 77 years ago. “I’m 66, so I’ve been around most of those 77 years.”
