4-vehicle crash creates I-75 mess in Wood County

BOWLING GREEN — A crash involving a pickup, a minivan, a car, and a tractor-trailer tied up traffic on I-75 Tuesday afternoon, but no life-threatening injuries were reported.

Marv Kranick, 46, of Bradner, Ohio, “failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead” while driving the pickup about 3:55 p.m. in Perrysburg Township near milepost 194 in Wood County, Lt. Matthew N. Geer of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

Mr. Kranick was driving south in the right lane and hit the minivan being driven by Tracy Graf-Gilbert, 36, of Bowling Green. The impact pushed Ms. Graf-Gilbert’s vehicle traveled across the road, where it struck the car, which was in the southbound left lane. Troopers said the minivan was disabled on the left shoulder and the car was disabled in the center lane…
