FREMONT, Ohio — ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont will hold an active attacker drill Friday in coordination with local emergency response agencies.
ProMedica says the exercise will take place from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and involve the Fremont Fire Department, Sandusky County EMA, Fremont Police Department and Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office.
Signs will be posted around the hospital to alert visitors that the drill is in progress. Hospital officials said no roads or highways near the campus are expected to be closed and the impact on the community should be “minimal.”…
