TOLEDO, Ohio — It’s been more than 20 days since delays with Republic Services first began, tied to a strike two states away. That strike has since ended, but some local residents say their garbage is still sitting on the curb.
Mary Reyes, of north Toledo, says her regular Wednesday pick-up came and went without service, even though her neighbors’ trash was collected.
“I don’t believe in saving garbage or trash,” Reyes said. “It was in the can, why didn’t they pick it up? It was Wednesday.”…
