LC4 seeking foster families, adoptions to help with move to new facility

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Lucas County Canine Care and Control moves into its brand new building downtown in about a month. The move can be challenging with dozens of dogs to care for — so the group is asking for the community’s help as it makes this move.

The community coordinator for LC4, Cassie Bloomfield, tells 13 Action News it’s a little bittersweet to be moving out of the old building since they’ve had so many successful adoptions in its current space, but the organization’s team is looking forward to opening new doors.

“It is specifically designed for the dogs the we have, staff that is here, and the community that we serve. It is everything we could have wanted in a shelter,” Bloomfield said…
