A Bowling Green man has been arrested for alleged strangulation, aggravated menacing and unlawful restraint of a woman.
BG Police arrested Jonathan Laabs, 48, on Friday (Aug. 29) around noon for an assault that allegedly took place Aug. 24, around 2:30 a.m., at a home in the 1400 block of Sheffield Drive.
A woman reported to police that she was sleeping on a couch in the home, when Laabs allegedly began yelling at her to get out of the home. She told police that Laabs began strangling her, making it difficult to breathe. She also said that while reportedly strangling her, he threatened to kill her and her family…
