A warrant was issued for a Bowling Green man who allegedly followed a food delivery driver back to a restaurant, and put a hole in the wall of the business.
BG Police received a call on Sunday (Aug. 31) around 12:30 a.m., for a male trying to break into a restaurant in the 100 block of East Wooster Street. The restaurant manager told police that an unknown man had followed the delivery person from a drop-off on Sheffield Drive. The driver said the man was honking the horn and flashing the car’s high-beams all the way back to the restaurant.
The man from Sheffield Drive, David Yeary, 62, later called police to give his side of the story, and said the delivery vehicle looked “suspicious.” In his version of the story, the man said he opened the back door of the restaurant for the driver…
