TOLEDO (WFFT) — A joint investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Toledo Police Department has led to the indictment of five men on 78 felony counts in the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas. These charges include engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, drug trafficking, and perjury.
The men indicted are Ahmed Zaitouni, 38, facing 30 counts; Mohammed Zaitouni, 21, with 28 counts; Moustafa Zaitouni, 25, with 12 counts; Hussien Hassan, 39, with seven counts; and Osman Zaitouni, 69, with one count. The investigation began in October 2024 when authorities discovered fraudulent titling of vehicles.
Authorities recovered five stolen vehicles, including a BMW X4 and an Alfa Romeo Giulia, and seized more than two kilograms of methamphetamine, 99 fentanyl tablets, 36 marijuana plants, and multiple firearms.
