Toledo one step closer to bringing free neighborhood music series to fruition

TOLEDO, Ohio — The City of Toledo announced that it’s another step closer to bringing a free music series to four Toledo parks starting next year.

The city said the proposal has now advanced to the public voting phase of the Levitt Music Series Grant competition, which is a national program that supports community-driven, outdoor concerts across the U.S.

If Toledo is selected as a recipient, it would receive up to $120,000 over three years to hold a Levitt Music Series each year, which would include seven to 10 outdoor concerts with local artists.
