TOLEDO, Ohio — The three suspects charged in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old in west Toledo earlier this summer were indicted Thursday by a Lucas County grand jury.
Gage Bearden, 19; Robert Dorr, 24; and Pete Wheatley, 19, were each indicted on one count each of the following charges:
- Murder
- Aggravated robbery
- Robbery
- Grand theft
- Tampering with evidence
All three are accused of being involved in a robbery that resulted in the death of Darius Washington, who was found shot multiple times on Dixon Avenue near West Alexis Road in the early morning hours of June 22.
