Concentration of first responders at Gibsonburg 9/11 event helped save lives after school bus crashed nearby: Sheriff

GIBSONBURG, Ohio (WTVG) – The people of Gibsonburg in Sandusky County gather each year to remember the tragedy of 9/11 and the bravery of the first responders present. This year, local first responders had their own call to answer to.

Speakers stood before a historic 9/11 memorial containing a real 7,000-pound piece of antenna from one of the Twin Towers.

Village leaders said it was important to have a reminder of the people who were affected that day and the way people helped one another…
