Toledo Club’s memorial stair climb to honor 9/11 first responders

People remember 9/11 in a variety of ways, including memorial runs, volunteer projects, and simple moments of silence.

The Toledo Club is holding a memorial stair climb Thursday to honor first responders who lost their lives after jets flown by terrorists slammed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001, 24 years ago this week.

Those who complete the twin towers stair climb challenge will take 2,220 steps, the equivalent of the 110 flights that were in the World Trade Center…
