TOLEDO, Ohio — A crash involving a scooter and a vehicle resulted in one person injured near downtown Toledo late Monday morning.
Police responded to the intersection of Cherry and Superior streets before 11:30 a.m. after a vehicle and a person riding a scooter collided in the roadway. According to Toledo police on scene, a person on a Veo scooter was approaching Cherry Street from Superior Street and pulled out in front of oncoming traffic that had a green light.
The scooter driver was hit and injured. The person was taken to the hospital to be evaluated; police said the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. Police said they did not know the age of the person who was hit…
