TOLEDO, Ohio — The first sign of trouble for Donna Cherry was the day her family moved into a rental property on Whiteford Center Road.
“We opened the garage door, which was electric, and upon opening it and trying to close it, it got locked up in the track and it remained open for a total of five days,” Cherry said. “We had already moved in all of our valuables and property, so everything that was in the garage was just subject to being stolen or damaged.”
