A new Mexican cuisine spot with signature margaritas is coming to the city along Lake Erie.
Casa de Margaritas is set to open at 1140 S Monroe Street in October. In a recent article from The Monroe News, the restaurant is currently under construction. Owner Joyce Ramirez told What Now Detroit it will arrive in the city in the middle of the month.
The new restaurant is replacing Michigan Bar and Grill which closed in May. It had been open for 35 years, run by the owners of Pete’s Garage in the city. Now, this is the newest Mexican concept for Monroe, owned by the Ramirez family who run Blue Margarita in Woodhaven…
