I-75 lanes reopen after tractor-trailer crash damages 1,500-foot barrier

WOOD COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash on I-75 in Perrysburg Township Wednesday afternoon.

According to authorities, the crash happened near the 188 milepost around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

Investigators revealed that a 2006 Volvo commercial tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on the interstate when the front left steer tire blew, causing the vehicle to travel off the left side of the roadway, where it struck the median cable barrier…
