TOLEDO, Ohio — Dr. Jane Goodall, one of the world’s most influential scientists and conservationists, has died at 91, the institute in her name announced on Wednesday.
Her groundbreaking work studying chimpanzees in Tanzania transformed the world’s understanding of the animals and inspired generations to protect the planet.
