MONROE Co., Mich. (WTVG) – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is warning of a scam in which the scammer claims to be a deputy with the sheriff’s office.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, the scammer claims to be Deputy Corey Jacobs and tells the would-be victim that he or she has warrants for their arrest or has failed to appear for jury duty.
