Woodville Township residents pushing back on data center proposal

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Gibsonburg, Woodville Township, and Madison Township residents are pushing back after hearing about a proposed data center for the area.

One family living inside the proposed zone for the center says they received offers of $100,000 per acre from a Danberry agent. For one family, the total would reach $11 million.

“Farming is just a big part of this area and we are concerned. There is not a lot of people that I’ve heard from that are in support of this. We now need to kinda fight for our land,” Woodville township resident, Andy Gerwin said…
