Shooting at Toledo after-hours club leaves man battling life-threatening injuries Saturday morning, police say

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A man was found shot inside a crashed car in Toledo Saturday morning. Officers with TPD say he was shot a short time before at an after-hours club.

Shortly before 2:00 a.m., TPD was called to a crash at the Avondale Avenue and Ewing Street intersection. Officers say they found a 30-year-old man who had been injured in a shooting. He was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officials on scene told 13 Action News the victim was the sole occupant inside the vehicle. Detectives believe he was shot at an after-hours club near Buckingham and North Hawley Streets. They say he fled the scene in a car before ultimately crashing into a telephone pole…
