The RSV vaccine, Beyfortus or Enflonsia, is recommended for all babies in the first winter of their life. In some high-risk infants, it may be recommended even in the second winter if they are less than 2 years of age. It is now available and as a pediatrician, I want to call out to all the Toledo area parents to ask for it from their pediatricians.

RSV is a viral infection that is responsible for an infection of the lungs especially in infancy.
