The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery at the Temperance Dollar General, 8220 Lewis Ave., that occurred at about 8:20 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
Preliminary investigation indicates that an unknown male suspect entered the store wearing all black clothing and a mask. The suspect approached store employees, forced them behind the counter and demanded that the cash register be opened, according to a news release.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot toward the south. Store employees told investigators they did not observe a weapon during the incident…
