TOLEDO, Ohio — A 12-hour live music event featuring local performers will take place Sunday, Nov. 2 at American Legion Post 553 to support the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank.
The “Pantry Pop-Up” Food Drive runs from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and includes performances from 18 Toledo-area musicians in an “unplugged” format. The event is free and open to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items to donate.
Requested donation items include:
- Protein: canned chicken, peanut butter, canned beans, dried beans, nuts, meat stews
- Dairy: powdered milk, evaporated milk
- Grains: cereals, granola, rice, oats, pasta, macaroni and cheese, whole wheat crackers, popcorn
- Fruits & Vegetables: canned fruit, canned vegetables, jelly, jams, 100% juice, soup, broth, applesauce, tomato products
- Personal Care: shampoo, toothpaste, baby items, feminine hygiene products
